Uninstall NebulaGraph Studio¶
Follow the steps for your installation method. Back up any configuration and data you need before uninstalling.
Docker Compose¶
If NebulaGraph Studio was started by NebulaGraph Database Developer Edition's supplied compose.yaml, run this in that file's directory to disable and remove the Studio container:
ACCEPT_EULA=Y docker compose up -d --scale studio=0
For PowerShell syntax, see Windows PowerShell.
The studio-data volume is preserved. Include --scale studio=0 in future up commands for the full deployment if you still do not need Studio. To stop the interface temporarily, use Stop and start Studio separately. To remove the full NebulaGraph Database Developer Edition deployment, follow Remove Docker Compose services.
If you used a separate studio-compose.yaml, run this in its directory:
docker compose -f studio-compose.yaml down
This stops and removes the container but preserves the studio-data volume. You can reuse its data when you deploy again.
If you no longer need the data, remove the volume:
docker compose -f studio-compose.yaml down -v
This permanently deletes the volume's contents.
TAR package¶
Enter the extracted installation directory containing bin, etc, and scripts, then stop the service:
sudo ./scripts/studio.service stop all
sudo ./scripts/studio.service status all
After confirming that the service has stopped, back up the configuration and data in the installation directory. Then remove the entire installation directory from its parent directory.
RPM or DEB package¶
Before removal, back up any configuration in /etc/nebula-studio/, data in /var/lib/nebula-studio/, and logs in /var/log/nebula-studio/ that you need to keep.
RPM package¶
Stop the service and remove the package:
sudo systemctl stop nebula-studio.service
sudo rpm -e nebula-studio
DEB package¶
Stop the service and remove the package:
sudo systemctl stop nebula-studio.service
sudo dpkg -r nebula-studio
