Source: https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/studio/graph-exploration/ Documentation version: v5.3.2 # Graph exploration Graph exploration is a visualization feature in NebulaGraph Studio for exploring relationships in data hosted with NebulaGraph Database Developer Edition. ## Open graph exploration After you [connect to NebulaGraph Database Developer Edition](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/studio/connect/) through NebulaGraph Studio, click EXPLORER in the top navigation bar to open the Exploration List page. Create or open an exploration to start exploring data on the canvas. You can also use the Explorer button on a graph result in the console to continue exploring. For more information, see [Console overview](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/studio/console/console-usage/). Graph exploration requires the metadata database in NebulaGraph Studio. Keep [`Database.Enable`](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/studio/configs/) set to `true`. ## Features Graph exploration provides the following features to help you explore your data: - [Interactive exploration](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/explorer/data-exploration/explore-subgraphs/): You can select multiple nodes to find their neighbors at one click, or explore the paths among these nodes based on different edge types. - [Data querying and filtering](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/explorer/data-exploration/explore-subgraphs/): You can query nodes, paths, and subgraphs based on specific conditions and apply various filters to customize the visualization. - [Rich visualization](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/explorer/data-exploration/modify-results/): You can customize the visualization style with different layouts, node and edge styles, and color schemes. - [Data storage and export](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/explorer/data-exploration/modify-results/): You can save exploration snapshots or export canvas data as PNG, JSON, or CSV files for further analysis. - [Edit graph data](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/explorer/data-exploration/edit-graph-data/): Add nodes and edges, edit properties, or delete data from NebulaGraph Database Developer Edition in edit mode. ## Scenarios Graph exploration is useful in the following scenarios: - You have no coding experience and want to explore the relationships in your data visually. - You want to quickly understand the structure of your data, find the underlying patterns, and discover insights. ## What's next - [Data exploration overview](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/explorer/data-exploration/) - [Manage explorations](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/explorer/data-exploration/manage-explore/) - [Canvas operations and shortcuts](https://dev-docs.nebula-graph.io/v5.3.2/visualization/explorer/canvas-operations/)
